What is Omoide B.O.E.?

Omoide B.O.E. was brought to you by David Namisato, the creator of the JET comic Life After the B.O.E.

Omoide (oh moh ee deh) means memory in Japanese.

B.O.E. is an acronym for Board of Education.

Omoide B.O.E. was a showcase of David’s illustrations based on his memories as a CIR in rural Aomori-ken while on the JET Programme, as well as illustrations based on the stories he heard from his friends who were also on the JET Programme.

Why is each image so different in style?

Omoide B.O.E. was also David’s experimental site, where he plays around with different styles.
